この度、世界的音楽家・坂本龍一の最後の3年半の軌跡を辿ったドキュメンタリー映画『Ryuichi Sakamoto: Diaries』（監督：大森健生／全国公開中）の英語字幕版の上映が東京・名古屋・大阪の劇場で決定いたしました

映画『Ryuichi Sakamoto: Diaries』のベースとなるNHKスペシャル「Last Days 坂本龍一 最期の日々」は、世界の優れたテレビ番組を表彰する国際エミー賞アート番組部門で部門最優秀賞の「国際エミー賞」を受賞。これまでも同番組は、2024年ローズ・ドール賞（アート部門）を受賞。25年のイタリア賞ですべての出品作品の中からもっとも文化・芸術面で優れた作品に贈られる「イタリア共和国大統領特別賞」とテレビ・パフォーミングアート部門の部門最優秀賞「イタリア賞」を受賞するなど、最後まで「理想の音」を生み出そうと情熱を傾ける坂本龍一氏の姿に、世界が感銘を受け、高い評価を受けた。
同番組をベースに、より創作活動や音楽によりフォーカスをあて、劇場でこそ鑑賞すべき映画作品として再構成された『Ryuichi Sakamoto: Diaries』。坂本龍一氏が、日本のみならず、海外のファンやアーティストから支持されてきたことを受け、この度、日本国内に滞在する英語話者向けに、東京・渋谷のBunkamuraル・シネマ 渋谷宮下（12/22（月）～25（木））、大阪ステーションシティシネマ（12/12（金）、13（土））、愛知・名古屋のミッドランドスクエア シネマ（12/21（日）、22（月））での英語字幕版上映が決定した。（詳細は各劇場HPにて掲載）

The NHK Special program “Last Days: Ryuichi Sakamoto-His Final Days,” on which the film “Ryuichi Sakamoto: Dairies” is based, received the International Emmy Award for Best Arts Programming – an award that recognizes the world’s most outstanding television programs. The show has also been honored with the 2024 Rose d’Or Award (Arts category). At Prix Italia 2025, it received the Special Award in Honor of the President of the Italian Republic, given to the most outstanding work in cultural and artistic excellence among all entries, as well as the top prize in the TV Performing Arts category. The world was deeply moved by Ryuichi Sakamoto’s passion to pursue his ideal sound until the end, which earned the work international acclaim.
